About the Role

Reporting to the Chief People Officer, the Regional Human Resources Business Partner will serve as an important connection between Rowan's HR team and its field operations.

The role involves providing HR guidance throughout the employee lifecycle, including employee relations, performance management, training, engagement, career development and compliance.

The HR Business Partner will also work closely with regional management to identify workforce challenges and opportunities and develop solutions that support Rowan's broader business objectives.

Key Responsibilities

The successful candidate will have a broad range of responsibilities, including strategic HR support, employee relations, employee development and HR operations.

Strategic HR Business Partnership

Responsibilities include:

  • Serving as a strategic HR partner to a Rowan Regional General Manager.
  • Providing guidance on people-related matters while supporting business growth objectives.
  • Meeting regularly with field management to identify regional HR needs and trends.
  • Building strong relationships with field leadership.
  • Understanding team dynamics, challenges and opportunities.
  • Collaborating with other Regional HR Business Partners to identify opportunities for continuous improvement.
  • Working with cross-functional leaders to improve HR and operational compliance.

Employee Relations and Compliance

The HR Business Partner will also provide guidance on employee relations and workplace policies.

Responsibilities include:

  • Supporting field teams in understanding and following company policies and benefits.
  • Acting as a regional HR compliance resource.
  • Developing knowledge of relevant state and local employment laws.
  • Conducting investigations into employee concerns and potential policy violations.
  • Recommending appropriate outcomes in accordance with company standards.
  • Supporting disciplinary actions and performance-management processes.
  • Conducting compliance audits.
  • Providing training and recommendations to improve HR compliance.

  • Work with Studio Managers and District Managers to ensure new and promoted employees receive appropriate onboarding and training.

  • Contribute to career-development programs.
  • Support performance-management processes, including goal setting, feedback and annual reviews.
  • Deliver HR training to field leadership on HR processes, employment law, recruiting and related topics.
