Learning Through Skill Acquisition Initiative (LETSAI) is currently recruiting qualified candidates to serve as Enumerators for a baseline survey project in Kogi State, Nigeria. About Learning Through Skill Acquisition Initiative (LETSAI)

Learning Through Skill Acquisition Initiative is a youth-led and impact-driven non-profit organization founded in 2015 and officially registered in Nigeria in 2018. The organization works to promote gender equality, reduce inequalities, improve health outcomes, and support sustainable development initiatives across communities.

The organization brings together professionals from diverse fields, including health, education, development, human rights advocacy, research, and community engagement. Through its programs, LETSAI seeks to empower vulnerable populations, particularly women, youth, and persons with disabilities.


Position Summary

LETSAI is seeking five qualified Enumerators to support a baseline survey under the SIDLIK Project. The survey will collect important data that will guide the implementation of disability inclusion initiatives and support evidence-based decision-making in project communities.

About the SIDLIK Project

The Support for the Implementation of the Disability Law in Kogi State (SIDLIK) Project is designed to strengthen disability rights implementation and improve inclusion for persons with disabilities.

The baseline survey serves as a critical first step in understanding existing conditions, challenges, and opportunities within project communities. The data collected will help stakeholders measure progress throughout the project's lifespan and develop interventions that address the needs of persons with disabilities more effectively.

Key Responsibilities

Selected Enumerators will play an important role in gathering accurate and reliable information from households and community members.

Conducting Interviews

Enumerators will conduct household and community interviews using approved data collection tools and methodologies.

Data Collection

Participants will collect field data accurately and ensure that information gathered reflects responses provided by survey participants.

Data Submission

Enumerators will be responsible for timely submission of completed survey data according to project guidelines.

Maintaining Ethical Standards

All field activities must comply with research ethics, confidentiality requirements, and safeguarding principles.

Training Participation

Successful candidates will participate in enumerator training sessions and project debriefings before and after fieldwork.

Timely Completion of Assignments

Eligibility Requirements

  • Possess an NCE, OND, HND, or Bachelor's Degree.
  • Be a resident of the Local Government Area where they are applying.

  • Possess strong interpersonal and communication skills.
