ROLE OVERVIEW

The DR-TB Quality Improvement Coordinator will function as a coordination and accountability officer embedded within national TB program structures.


The position focuses on closing critical gaps in the DR-TB treatment cascade, especially:

- Reducing delays between diagnosis and treatment initiation

- Improving data-driven decision-making

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

The DR-TB Quality Improvement Coordinator will perform the following duties:


1. Patient Tracking & Cascade Management

- Track all diagnosed DR-TB cases using national digital systems

- Monitor delays and escalate gaps in care  


2. Quality Improvement Activities

- Identify bottlenecks in TB treatment systems  

- Conduct root cause analysis for treatment delays

- Strengthen collaboration between community and facility-based care  


4. Data Management & Reporting

 5. Digital Health Systems Use

- Operate TB tracking platforms such as CommTB
